Is there a LCD screen for the radio?
There isn't a LCD screen. But there are features like auto scan tuning, preset station and last station memory to make station selection easy.
Why are there 2 different models for iPod and iPod nano?
We specially designed iWoofer nano for 1st and 2nd generation iPod nano to cater to its off-centered dock connector. This way, iPod nano would be displayed aesthetically at the center when docked on iWoofer nano.
How does iPod shuffle mount on iWoofer since it has no dock connector?
iWoofer provides an adapter that will mount iPod shuffle onto iWoofer. And the Audio in cable provided will connect iPod shuffle to iWoofer.
Can other MP3 players, CD players, laptops and desktop computers with Audio out work with iWoofer?
Yes, just use the Audio in cable provided to connect iWoofer to your external devices.
Is the iWoofer compatible with the 3rd generation iPod nano with video?
Yes, iWoofer is compatible with the 3rd generation iPod nano with video (square shaped). Since the dock connector of iPod nano with video is centered, please choose iWoofer for iPod model, not iWoofer nano model.
Is the iWoofer compatible with iPhone, iTouch, or later iPod generations?
Sadly, no. Due to Apple's firmware updates, iWoofer no longer works with iPhone, iTouch, and newer iPod models through the dock connector. It would still work as a speaker using the Audio in cable provided to connect to the iWoofer.
